Sept: Month with many promotional programs

Promotional month in HCM City will begin from 1st Sept 2009 and last until the end of Sept. According to HCM Trading Service, many businesses, manufacturers have promotional plans, favourable discount rate for consumers in this period.

Starting soon from the end of August 2009, many companies prepared promotional programs for Sept, take advantage of the event of the 2nd Sept Anniversary. In details, Mattana fashion brands belong to Nha Be garment company expanded distribution network with 53 shops, and promotional program: "buy 2 shirts plus 1", "buy veston fully package get 1 shirt valued 450.000 vnd" at the same time applied for all shops from 25 Aug to 25 Sept 2009.

At Thien Hoa electric machines supermarket, in Sept it is expected that 10-20% porfolio of products currently displayed will get discount rate up to 49%. Besides, Thien Hoa cooperates with Prudential finance company to conduct program: loaning to buy products by instalments with interest equalled zero.

At Coopmart, there will be price cutting programs up to the maximum 40% depend on each commodity. As previous years, Sept is an opportunity for companies with Vietnamese high-quality goods certificates, since Coopmart organizes promotion programs for them.

Vissan cuts down price from 5% to 10% for fresh and processing products. In this month, Vissan launchs many new products such as: beef pate, pork pate, stewing pork, braised chicken... with lower prices than current categories. The price difference is between 25% - 30%.

Sales off for workers, farmers:
In three days, 29 - 31 Aug 2009, Saigon Trade Corporation (Satra) and Vissan will hold travelling sales at Tan Tao industrial zone. After that, Satra, Vissan, Tax trading center, Saigon coop takes turns doing travelling sales at many industrial parks like Linh Trung 1, Hiep Phuoc, high-tech area, Vinh Loc, Tan Thuan.
