The Dalat Flower Festival will be held from 1 to 4 January 2010 to link to the Grand Celebration of 1000 years old Thang Long - Ha Noi. The theme of the 2010 Festival is Da Lat - The City of Flowers. This event is held every two years in order to promote Dalat's image as a tourist city. The festival also creates excellent brand promotion opportunities for businesses.
The main events of this festival are the Rua Tower, made of flowers, floating in the middle of Ho Xuan Huong Lake; an International Commercial Fair; a Wine Party; and a seminar on flowers.
The estimated budget for the 2010 Da Lat Flower Festival will be about VND15 billion.
